Yes, we are an independent fiduciary firm that operates purely as fee only to our clients. That means that we will never earn a commission for any investment recommendations. Many advisors may be incentivized to sell commission-based products that operate in their own best interest. At no point will we be compensated by a third party for any of our recommendations. We work for you and have your best interest at heart.
Additionally, we are members of National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and XY Planning Network. Both organizations have stringent admissions requirements with a mission of promoting fee-only financial planning, and we are proudly members of each organization.

No, we don’t set a minimum. Our minimum is having an open mind and a good attitude. During our initial meeting(s), we’ll both determine whether we’re a good fit for each other and if Stillforest Wealth will be able to help you meet your financial goals.

We work with a variety of clients from those who hope to jumpstart their savings to clients who are near or already in retirement.

The introductory meeting is free. You will not incur a fee until you agree to become a client of Stillforest Wealth.

First, it starts with you. Our initial meeting(s) will be an exercise in learning about you and your overall goals. Before we build a financial plan, we want to gather data and understand what’s important to you. From there, we will customize a financial plan tailored around your goals.
-
Generally, we will set meetings semiannually or annually to monitor progress or update your plan. Not all clients are the same. Some clients require more frequent check-ins while other clients may not. However, I am happy to meet with you (in person or virtually) or have a phone conversation if you have any questions or concerns. If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.

Our core investment philosophy consists of a globally diversified portfolio that is efficient and minimizes expenses. As a fee-only firm, we do not place any of our clients in commission-based investments or insurance products. In our initial planning meeting, we will select a portfolio that’s appropriate for your risk profile. We’ll continue to monitor the market and make periodic adjustments over time that reflect our macroeconomic views.
